Description

Drive spindle extensions allow shanks of grinding and milling tools to be extended. They allow access to hard-to-reach areas and are clamped into the collet of the machine (air or electric grinder) or into the flexible shaft handpiece. Drive spindle extensions are a cost-effective alternative to special made-to-order burs and mounted points with long shanks.

Extension for drive spindles with a working length of 150 mm, a tool mounting of 1/8" and a shank holder of 1/4"."

Recommended extension for drives with a maximum rotational speed of 10,000 RPM.

Safety notes
  • Caution! When using spindle extensions, please observe the valid safety regulations and accident prevention regulations. When working with extended shank lengths, it is vital that the product is inserted into the workpiece (e.g. bores, pipes, ducts or keyways) before the power tool system is switched on. The extension must not run freely with the product outside the workpiece. If this rule is not observed, the risk of accidents is increased. In unfavorable conditions, the extension with the product clamped in it may buckle.
  • The extension is only intended for manual use in connection with suitable air grinders, electric grinders or flexible shaft handpieces for products with standard shanks. The extension and a product permitted for use at the appropriate rotational speed are clamped into an impact-free collet on the device. Do not clamp on the transition radius. Clamping of a second extension or of products with excessively long shanks should not be done.
  • The maximum permitted rotational speed is 10,000 RPM.
