Description

POLICAP® abrasive caps in tapered conical shape with radius end, shape G. The taper angle of the cone is 30°.

POLICAP® products have a seamless design and the entire surface area can be used.

For universal use on steel workpieces (hardened, heat-treated, non-hardened). Specifically developed for special applications, e.g. in tool and die-making and repair. Also works on plastics, wood and fillers in model crafting.

Recommendations for use

To easily change the abrasive caps and cones, give them a slight clockwise twist and pull them up and off. When doing so, leave the abrasive holder clamped in the power tool, and fix in place.
For best performance, use at a recommended peripheral speed of 2,000-4,000 SFPM.

Safety notes

The maximum permitted peripheral speed is 5,500 SFPM.
For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.

Workpiece materials: Cast steel; Hardened, heat-treated steels over 370 HV (38 HRC); Stainless steel (INOX); Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC; Steels up to 370 HV (< 38 HRC)
