New ALUMASTER High Speed Disc generation is available

After the successful introduction of ALUMASTER HSD-F, PFERD now presents the HSD-R type.

The innovative ALUMASTER High Speed Disc is a unique tool with an extremely high stock removal rate. It is ideal for processing aluminium as it does not generate hazardous or explosive dust.

Completely new tool design

ALUMASTER tools consist of specially developed, turnable and replaceable tungsten carbide cutting inserts, which are fixed to the High Speed Disc. With the new HSD-R type, the cutting segments are mounted around the perimeter of the High Speed Disc. This makes HSD-R suitable for milling out, chamfering and for working on weld seams, fillet welds, edges and surfaces and also for milling out root welds and peripheral milling.

Certainly more stock removal

The stock removal rates are much higher compared to conventional grinding tools. That is why ALUMASTER High Speed Disc is a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to grinding wheels and flap discs of comparable weight.
